Installation Instructions
Please install these tools only at the direction of a WebGuard technician. They are used to establish a temporary, supervised support session.
Remote access is limited to your active support session and can be closed or removed at any time.
Windows Installation 🪟
- Download the Remote Client for Windows listed above.
- Open File Explorer and navigate to your Downloads folder.
- Double-click the downloaded .exe file to launch it.
- If prompted, approve any security or permission requests.
- Allow the application to start and remain open.
- Notify your WebGuard technician once the client is running.
If Windows SmartScreen appears, select More info → Run anyway.
macOS Installation 🍎
- Download the Remote Client for macOS listed above.
- Open the downloaded
.dmgor.pkgfile. - Drag the application into Applications if prompted.
- Open the application and allow requested permissions.
- Notify your WebGuard technician once the client is running.
